I'm looking for some help with the adjustable rear sight on my 9mm 1911. When i'm shooting it the pin that the sight rotates on will start to slide out of the sight. Any ideas on how to keep this pin in without affecting the function of the sight would be great.

The pins in Ruger Mk III's do that too. The usual solution given to folks is pull the pin, put a slight bend in the middle then tap it back in. The friction from the bend in the middle locks it well enough to stop it moving. But if it needs to be tapped out for any reason it's not hard to do.

The worst that will occur from the slight kink in the pin is that you need to adjust your sight a click or two. But after that it should stay consistent.

Exactly the advice I read and did on my Ruger site as well.
