Remington R51

I know when these were first introduced there was going to be a threaded model that met Canadian barrel length requirements.
Seems like R51 2nd gens are going to start shipping soon. Any chance of getting one of the threaded models sent to the rcmp for approval?

The pistol looks good and the locking mech is cool. Too bad it looks like it's a bit of a turd. If Remington could get their $hit together I bet it would be a neat little piece of kit for probably a very reasonable price.

The first gen on this pistol didnt get very good reviews.

But the second gen looks promising and I would like to get a longer barrel one for sure. It would look very nice with my R1, 870 and 700

Even the gen 2 is still garbage. they are way better options on the market. Remington is losing massive $$$ on this.

Your better off to purchase something else, like others have said there are various other proven choices out there.
