Remington Recursion caps

Just did a quick search online (remington #10 percussion caps Canada) and it looks like the second hit is in Alberta and has them in stock.

Truenorthreloading dot ca, never heard of them but it's a good start.... :)

Given all the other stuff they show in stock that site is almost certainly a scam.

The first hit on the search looks like an AI generated web page as well.... I've been hosting a buddy who's a programmer and watching him develop agents with several different LLM's. it's not hard to generate a sophisticated web page using machine coding today that's for sure.... in the several weeks he's been here he's seen more powerful models solve problems he had a few weeks ago quickly!

I also thought I saw them listed as order-able vs in stock at Rusty's but maybe I misread that..... on a different note,

I tried these last year, I’ll be honest they aren’t very reliable. Maybe once you get experienced with them, but I found it gimmicky in the end. Often times my caps came out of the die unevenly formed, the powder was finicky to get mixed right unless you scale up the batch and even then I had sparse success rates.

I hadn't either but like mentioned below maybe it’s a different owner, I never got the name of who I dealt with. Bought off him for years without fail, but I bought some “factory” antique cartridge ammo off him at a premium, turned out he was handloading them himself and made up an obscure brand name, used crappy and improper components, which still wasn’t the issue, I asked him if he’d work something out for my trouble and he basically resorted to name calling and blacklisted me over it.

I’m sure buying branded items is fine though.

Thanks for sharing your experience with the tap-a-caps... for the price it was worth a shot to try out and experiment with.
