Remington SENDERO

The 26" Sendero barrel makes good use of the powder capacity of a 300win. The 300 ultra not so well. I went 300win for mine. Planned on doing lots of shooting so cost was a factor. Great rifles for factory guns.

buy the remington senderro 300 rum ,you w'ont regret it! and i d'ont know why you would worry about the price of shooting $$$, if you can buy the senderro ,you can probably afford the ammo!!! if your like me you might use the gun only for hunting a few times a year, you might fire a few rounds , i've got a few other guns to plink around with .204 ,270 etc.....i use my 300 rum in new brunswick mostly for moose hunting because of the clearcuts and bogs are a half a mile to a mile long, theres no problem for this caliber when the stars are lined up at 300 or 400 yards, no need to cheat this baby!! drop the crosshairs and pull the trigger!!! i have no problem with the 300 win mag, it does the job but bigger is always better, that,s my .02 cents. have some safe shooting and travels!

I have had 300win (still have 2 - both custom Rem 700 hunting rig and tac) , 300RUM among many others smaller and larger up to 338LM. I enjoy hunting at long ranges and especially love shooting steel at even longer distances. I have spent time reloading thousands of rounds for these purposes and after years of doing it I have focussed in on the 300wm for the most practical of all of the 30cal's I have played with including the wsm. It offers the all round most when you compare all variables. There is nothing you will be able to do with a RUM that you can't do as good and with more confidence with a 300win. The 300win has won more 1000 yard matches than any other 30cal. If you want a 300RUM so as to feel like you have something more powerful on paper, then get it, but beyond that it is a waste of money. Just my two cents.
