remington shotgun help

I need some info about a Remington 2000 series, My buddy has one and he is thinking of selling it. I know nothing about this shotgun except thats its a 12 gauge autoloading shotgun with a wooden stock, and from what I can remember it appears to have a +/-26" vented barrel.....what would something like this be worth in very good condition?

That doesn't ring a bell to me, but Browning makes an autoloader, B-2000.

Maybe he got the company name's mixed up.... I think I'll have to take a look at it to gather more info...

Not sure, but i would guess, 500-1000.
