Remington SPS long range hunter, what are your thoughts.

my son and I both have them in stainless 300 RUM and I have one in 7 RUM still working loads for. Both of our 300s shoot sub MOA and he has taken game well over 600 mtrs with his. It is a killing machine, the recoil takes some conditioning though. We load very warm to get the most from the big case and 26" tube so the recoil is up there. He's using a 165 accubond and I'm working with a 200 Accubond.
I just re-read your post, is the "long range hunter" a new specific Rem model?

I could use one in 25-06/7RM and swap the tupperware for a Sendero take off...would make a great poor mans LR rifle, not that I have a use for one...but a dude can wish...
