Went out to the range this morning. I was shooting Eley Yellow box, Rem. subs and CCI subs out of my Anschutz 1712.

So far I really haven't shot any match ammo that it didn't like so it's going to be hard to decide which brand to order boat loads of :D

Here is the Eley @ 50 yrds

The Remington Subsonics were dissapointing. They were very inconsistent as you can see. There was a fair breeze but that is no excuse. However they are good enough for gopher hunting with.

The CCI's were very tough to chamber. At one point I couldn't close or open my bolt. I had to really pull back hard just to get the unfired round out. I will be using these with my Browning BL-22.

Once all my Match ammo testing is done I will post all of the targets so we can see how each did in comparison to eachother.

problem with CCI chambering maybe associated with Remington subsonics shot just before. If that's the case and remington were first than what happens is chamber gets very dirty, gummed up and nothing works. Remington cases just a touch smaller I figure and there is a lot of blowby than makes chamber dirty.

I had the same problem chambering CCIs, mind you not subs but stingers. The reason was the CCI stinger case is longer than LR case:

Check the length of the CCI case and compare with LR:

The CCI Subsonics are or are supposed to be standard lenght. The only extra long case's that I know of are the Stinger and the Quick Shok.
