remington titanium 260

Ti stuff

Hi there, do to this forum I jumped on the Ti bandwagon and put my name down for one of the rifles. But as some of you might know, the price has jumped on the second order, not due to Randy, but the US exporter. Randy was quite easy to deal with and said that I he was not expecting people to honour the deal as the price had changed and I opted to not take mine...sure I regret it later. any way I have a Gre-Tan light weight firing pin and Talley light weight mounts for this gun and figured I would let guys know on this thread before I put them up for sale on the EE. PM me if you would be interested in them, got them from Corlanes in Dawson.

Keep an eye on the bolt. Mine cracked in the little cut out near the root of the bolt handle. They are supposed to be replacing it with one of the new ones. It was a very little used 7mm-08. Kevin

My .260 Titanium Remington 700 arrived on Thursday. :)

I mounted a Leupold Vari-X II 2-7 on it and loaded up fifteen 129 grain Hornadys (first time loading for this calibre) to zero the scope and try some groups.

Here's the last 100 yard group fired this afternoon (it was capable of MOA or better accuracy):

(used H4831, Nosler brass and Fed 210M primers)

This is a very handy, accurate rifle without any significant recoil.
