i was lookin at buyin one of these rifles.in a 3006.would like to here the likes and dislikes of them .

they are very light. my 30-06 with a 3-9x40
VXII Leupold in talley low mounts weighed 6 lbs 3 oz

likes : super light, cool looking, different

dislikes : jlock (on mine), extra recoil, recoil pad isnt an R3

overall they're awesome, I love mine. swapped the stock for a
LSS laminate though, as I dont extreme light weight for the
hunting I usually do. I prefer the look and feel of the laminate,
although the factory Ti stock is very well made.

I mounted a FXIII 6x42 and now with an elevation moa turret...
awesome rig. Will put 168 TSX into 3/4" or less at 100 yards @
2830 fps. Just gotta give some time between shots to not warm
the barrel up too much, and it shoots tight. :) Current scoped weight
now is right in at 7 lbs

I have recently acquired a 700 Ti in 7-08, picked it up in slightly used condition.

Nice weight and balance......I like the rifle.....recoil is nothing at all, although I could see where the same rifle in 30-06 might get your attention:D

I put BDL bottom metal in mine and glass bedded it, mounted a 2.5-8X Leupold in Dual Dovetails(not a lightweight mount setup for sure:rolleyes: )...it comes in at 6lbs 6 ounces...

I'd like to rebarrel one to 22-250 for a lightweight coyote rig....:)

thanks for the pics there tod.i like your set up.if i got a titanium i would probably change the recoil pad for sure.

I have a 700 Ti in .30/06 as well. For a skinny little barrel it shoots very well. I don't find any problems with the recoil.............expecially the new one's have R-3 pads on them.

Here is mine with a Swarovski and some of the lightest mount's you'll fine from Dave Gentry.

Those Gentry mounts and rings sure look good - very slick. I wonder if he makes a set of bases and rings like that to fit the older Rem M600 or Rem M660?
