Guy's, I am in the middle of some trigger work but can not seem to get rid of the two part epoxy that the gunsmith used to set the screws.

There must be a simple way other than heat(which I did).

Try a soldering iron with a pointed tip and put the heat right on the screw for a several seconds. It might come loose. Can't imagine why any smithy would use epoxy on screws though.

....done

More heat(1100 watts) and stainless steel brush. The epoxy used was very good.

I understand why you can use the factory trigger down to about 1 3/4 to 2.0 pounds if you replace the trigger pull spring with a lighter one. Factory trigger pull spring went down to about 2.5 pounds.

I do not know how a gunsmith can make any money at this? I have done three today and it took about an hour each.

Thanks for the help.

-Lou
