Anyone know where to source Versamax pistons? I have searched but nowhere has stock.

I know Remington went the way of the Dodo but what about parts? Is it the case that no one is making them and now there are simply none to be had?

I *believe* the part number is F400291

You might be screwed if you need that part. The only other suggestion is does the new V3 use that same piston (the V3 may not even use a piston at all)? I would email someone at Remington to see if that piston is the same dimension and figure out if it is interchangeable. I got a Versa too and I think it's an incredible shotgun. No idea why Remington discontinued it...

V3 does use pistons but they are different from the Versamax

I have reached out to them, I have gotten VM parts from them before.

It has been a while since I last purchased from them - are they dealer only now?

Yes dealer only.

However, I’m certain they would help folks out, or at least send you in the right direction to a dealer who could help…:)

Or at least, I would hope they will help out a Remington firearm owner.

I have reached out to a bunch of folks (all over the place) and now play the waiting game as it is Easter etc.

Hopefully not too much of a waiting game as it seems I am in the awkward time whereby Remington has ceased production and all the existing parts have dried up and the new owners haven't got around to restarting production for these parts yet.
