Hi
I sold two of these vintage ones lw410 since I joined and seem to recall them both going in the 700 range.
Both were as new with vent ribs and one was choked mod and the other IC
I still have two left and would not part with them for any less when the time comes to sell. One I still have has choke tubes fitted by briley and the other is a factory skeet with high end wood and the weight
Cheers

New price is 699.00 why would U spend 700 on a used one .

You might be able to dig up a new 12ga Wingmaster for $699, but the best priced LW410 I can see available is from Epps@ $795 (rings in @ $835 with GST only)

When it comes to 870s, I would rather have vintage over new, yet the point is still valid.

I would surely enjoy failing at skeet with this little .410!

699 is a US price and if you know that you should also know vintage used 870 410 sells state side for 700-900. So 700 in canada is common when you can find one
Kind of suprised someone who works on guns would even ask that question or you have never had one of each apart side by side and worked the actions
Plus with 3 out of 4 of mine I had they don't make new with fixed IC / SKEET barrels or choke tubes so go for more money
Give me vintage wingmasters any day vs new. Probally why I only have one wingmaster after the 70's in my collection and that is a 2002 3 1/2"
Cheers

No difference between a new wingmaster and a vintage one as far as material quality or workmenship not sure where you guys get this stuff . There was a good deal on one at a gun show I was at today nice clean gun tagged at $500.00 the only down side was it was a full choke. In fact if u look a a Remington add from the 70's to mow virtually the discripsion as far as material and manufacturing techniques are the same . The new ones are smoother with nicer bluing . $795 still a good $ value over all the othe low end guns out there.

I get this stuff from owning and working on many of them plus shooting them as my go to guns since the mid 60's
New identical nope .Even my mrs can spot the plastic parts in the mag tube and the different tube as a small example. Plus since the late 80's injection molded metal parts etc not seen in vintage models have been quietly implemented and more coming yearly like safety buttons, lock etc
Any how when a new one is smoother than a vintage best let some that knows what they are doing check it over since that is not the norm
Too bad we are not closer I still have a couple dozen here you could try against your new ones. My original skeet sets almost cycle by themselves not model 31's but feel close
Not that there is nothing wrong with a new one or that 50,000 rounds or so would not improve the smoothness
I agree with you new LW870 's are still at 795 a good dollar value

Cheers
