Remington WSM actions

Do the Remington SPS 700's that are in a 300 wsm have a true short mag action or are they a Magnum action built for a 300 win mag? Im looking for something with a true 300 wsm action built for that family of cartridges. Im not a fan of the "one action fits all"

Rem WSM's are built on the .308 action, with a magnum bolt face. This action is better suited for the SAUM family (slightly shorter).

IMO the best actions tailored to the WSM are the SM Sako action and the Win 70 short action. Both allow for the bullets to be seated out where they should be. M70 Extreme in .300WSM would be a nice one, and can be had for ~$1000...

Cool, I will have to look at it. I thought I had a nice 300 wsm lined up but turned out to be somewhat dissapointing and want to get it done right the first time.
