I haven't shot one, but I handled one in the store the week before last and it seemed very poorly finished. It just seemed cheaply made in comparison to the Browning X-Bolt and Tikka that were there. I love my Uncle's 700 LSS Mountain but the XHR didn't seem to be quite on par with the others. But just because it didn't seem as nice doesn't mean that it isn't as accurate or reliable...hopefully someone here has had more experience with it than me and can help you out.
I've read a bunch of debates about the safety of the newer 700's with the accidental misfires and such but I don't know how true that is, but it's definitely something else to consider.
