Hi folks. Yes it's another "what's it worth" question.

I have an XP 100 from an estate in VG condition in .221 FB if memory serves me correctly. 10 inch barrel length on it and in its original nylon style stock/grip. Also comes with a Weaver base but no scope or rings.

What are they worth?

Cheers, Peter.

kind of an odd duck now days (yes I own one, don't laugh). Without silhouette and varminting these pistols don't have much of a following. Great little guns though, solid receiver like the 40x. Very accurate. Maybe $500 or so. Used a few of them to build some tack driving rifles back in the day, still have one up in the cupboard for just that purpose. FWIW - dan

Is it possible to get it classified as a rifle after its converted?

No.

Criminal Code Section 84(1):

“Handgun” means a firearm that is designed, altered or intended to be aimed and fired by the action of one hand, whether or not it has been redesigned or subsequently altered to be aimed and fired by the action of both hands.

(All handguns are Restricted.)

Prior to this definition in Law it was sometimes possible to change classifications via barrel length or stock extensions or whatever. Some such firearms are still around from those days, but if they come under scrutiny the current definition should be applied…
