Remington XP 100's... anyone have one ... Fireballs?

Early 70's I bought a new one in .221, just like in the first picture. They are a little bulky with a scope. Inside the stock there were five .38 wadcutter bullets, for balance as I recall. They would rattle if you shook it. I never could really master shooting it off-hand, or on a bench for that matter. Very accurate though, if you could hold it steady. It was very loud also. I think I had the factory zippered case for it but I can't be sure. Still got a few cases.

I believe I traded it for a used S&W model 29 with the long barrel; that was one fine weapon.

As mentioned in my previous post #20, I still have mine and will likely hold on to it for a few more years yet. An option I would like to have seen is the availability in a left hand bolt model.

I still have my old unlimited class silhouette XP in 7mm BR with a custom stock.

Back in the day could hit a 22 chicken at 200 meters about 5 out of 10 with iron sights.

22 chickens are about 3x3 inches, barely visible to the naked eye at that distance.

120 grain hollow points loaded pretty hot for shoot offs.
