Way back a brother swore by them and had good results in his cooeys
My winchester didnt like them It had a steady diet of Imperial With the odd box of stingers
The Imperials had a good thud to them to just not as much authority as the Yellow Jackets
Rare to find nowadays for sure.
Great news if they shoot well for you.
That truncated cone has never worked well in any of my dozen or so rifles. They haul asz but the accuracy never impressed me.
I know some people like them, but I found that it was the dirtiest ammo I ever shot.
But that was many years ago. Maybe they've "cleaned" up their act since then

I never had much luck with yellow jackets, none of my 3 22's shot them good enough to even use them for gophers, just to inconsistent for my liking, lot's of better gopher medicine out there IMHO
I shot a lot of Richardson's / Columbian ground squirrels back in the 80s, and my 10/22 didn't always feed that truncated cone bullet well, so I used CCI Stingers and the old Winchester Xpediters, which were similar to Stingers if you've never seen them before, more often. I do seem to remember the Yellow Jackets doing the most damage of the 3 though.
