I find them to need a substantial firing pin hit to prevent FTF. (No different than any remington rimfire). They are absolutely filthy. Seemingly accurate in most firearms, and devastating to rodents.

i used them all day today, about 400 rounds. flawless. i used 'hyper velocity'. i think there are other kinds.

I actually just bought 200rds today... I'm hoping they fire out of my Mossberg and Ruger, but we'll see.... They may be a dirty rd, but I know they hit hard!!!!!!!!! I hope they fire ok, because they are a heck of a lot cheaper than CCI Velocitors.

they work extremely well in most of my .22's, including two Ruger semis. Used them last summer (2010) on a couple thousand gophers. Devastating...:ar15:

I've shot hundreds of gophers with them and they are quite destructive on that size of critter. They didn't feed that well in my 10/22 though.

Second (or is it third? fourth?) on them causing indigestion in 10/22's.

Shot groundhogs with them a while ago; that worked. Tried them in the 10/22, fer old times' sake, ya know? Never again.

How'd you do ?

After a 'bout with Thunderbolts , which were terrible in all my .22's ( except my Mossy Tact ) I won't purchase any more Rem ammo ....rimfire or centerfire.
Once bitten , twice shy...

I'vebeen using the hyper velocity yellowjackets forever ... absolutely love them. My Cooey's all shoot great with them, and even the S&W 46 likes them - the extra power really makes it work well.

They are a bit dirty though .. usually after a couple hundred rounds, the semi rifle will need some cleaning or I'll start getting failt to feeds on the last couple rounds from each mag (integral tube magazine)

As for using them on game ... If you can hit it, they'll stop it cold.

My Henry lever carbine loves yellow jackets - accurate and deadly. My Remington 597, not so much - the groups are all over the place.
