How'd you do ?

After a 'bout with Thunderbolts , which were terrible in all my .22's ( except my Mossy Tact ) I won't purchase any more Rem ammo ....rimfire or centerfire.
Once bitten , twice shy...

I actually never fired a round untill last thur. I used my 10/22 and it loved them. Out of 50 they all went bang except for one. No issues other than that. I haven't had a chance to try them in my mossy yet.

One of my 10/22s won't feed them relaibly, another will digest them rather well. They are devistating on rodents, and have a fairly unique sound, due to the trunicated profile.

They make a Ker puck noise when they hit gophers. Feed well in most bolt guns.

Killed alot of ground hogs with that round using a remington bolt gun, good accuracy for
hunting.

I tried them once in my savage mk2. They were very dirty and failed to extract frequently. They were generally (accuracy, terminal ballistics, and trajectory) outperformed by CCI Quik-shoks, and I haven't tried them in any of my subsequent 22's.

My 597 HATES them....well anything truncated. I find cci stingers more effective,reliable,accurate than yellow junkets.

My 10/22 loves them, that's pretty much all I shoot in the gopher patch. Yes, they are a bit dirty.

whats the weight of the bullet? I've started experimenting with Velocitors in my 10/22 and they seem to work well with a promise of good results on gophers, but these seem worth a try maybe in my lakefield mk.2
