Remmy new gun...restricted or not?

just looked it up, theyre on backorder at wolverine.
they cost about a grand.

at that price id buy one just to own a non-restricted AR i can build a varmint/predator rig on.... but i think ill wait and see how the current gov't gun control situation plays out before investing a grand into a gun that will be first on the liberal's ban/seizure list when they get back into power.
i fear for all my semi-autos :(

They didn't seize many before, why would they do it next time. With that attitude you may as well sell all your guns. The more out there the harder it will be for them.
 
its more of a question of 'hmm, should i buy this gun that will be at the top of their list to ban, or should i get something like a BAR instead which i may be able to hang onto a bit longer'.

i would like to buy one, but im going to wait a bit and see what happens with the promised abolishment of the long gun registry.

There are no safe guns with Wendy and her crew- or rather, with the elitist leadership of various political parties who want everyone disarmed except for them and their bodyguards, and Wendy who is growing fat (more ways than one) on government grants pretending to lobby for something our betters have already decided.

She already has moved to the next step by saying that "hunting rifles are more dangerous than handguns". as their medium term objective ( 5 -10years) look for a total prohibition of gun ownership for urban area residents, central lockups outside these areas, after a ban on semis and handguns of course. Caliber restrictions will go along with this.

with grandfathering they can get away with saving the cost that would otherwise prevent them from seizing everything. so when they finally come to take your guns away, you'll be too dead to object...

i understand that line of reasoning, believe me i do...
its just a personal decision to try and buy guns that i have the best chance of being able to hand down to my kids, and grandkids, if i can help it. i just cant afford to be a crusader and buy guns to make a point. if that makes me so damned contemptible in all the 'hardcore gun rights lobbyists' eyes as to be lumped in with antis, so be it.

BTW it is camo because REm is trying to convinve some of their customers it is a hunting rifle, same reason it has no sights and no flash hider.

Glad you brought up the DCRA having something to do the the AR's only being restricted. Now how many AR owners/shooters belong to the DCRA?
 
if the liberals get into power and even mention the words gun control in any context other then abolishing it i plan to revolt out of respect for my grand gauther and great grand fathers on my fauthers side (all war vets can't disrespect them can i) and take as many of those wannabe genocidal murderers as i can with me. there is no way i am letting my rear end die in concntraion camp gas chamber or starving to death

i believe any public figure supports gun control ought to be locked away ina facility margionaly worse then quantonimo bay for conspiracy to commit genocide or shot for treason good of society my fat ass

does any one knows what the geniva convention says about politicaly oppressed citizens?

You'll be kicking yourself if that ever happens and the rights are grandfathered. Better to get as many as you can now while you can. ;)
