I have a 6' craftsman work bench, and have a hornady single stage press, and a dillon 550 progressive press both of which are mounted on dillon strong mounts. The hornady press is using washers in order to work with the strong mount, but it is solidly secured and looks like it will work well.

My question, is there something that can be mounted to my bench so I could slide in whatever press on the strong mount I want to use, so I don't use up my most of my workbench mounting the two presses? I would like this to be a fairly quick procedure without fully unbolting it each time. Any tips or ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks Hunter64 that looks perfect!!! I was on the webste but didn't see anything that would fit the Dillon strong mount, but I sent an email and hopefully this will work out.

No this is to small to fit a Dillon Strong Mount. You could put two side by side or make one bigger enough to mount a strong mount too. What are the dimensions of the strong mount base that you would need?

Just got a reply and no they don't make anything that will fit the strong mount... I found something else that might work that I am looking into. T track and it looks like it would available locally too.

Here is my set up. I prefer the T track to go side to side on the table opposed to front to back. It is easier to slide things out of the way while not in use but not having to completely remove them from the bench. I mounted my presses and case prep center to mounting plates and have universal plates and bolt patterns in them to avoid confusion and unnecessary holes. The T track can be found at Lee Valley, Canadian woodworker, Busy Bee....

I haven't decided yet which way I am goin to mount these but this is the new way I plan on going. How difficult is it to router the t-track in? Did the track come with the hardware to mount to your bench once it was routered ?thanks for the pics that is a nice set up you have there IVO!

The T track is easy to install. Use a straight edge, figure out your spacing, 3/4" router bit, set your depth(3/8" I believe) and router away. I just used 1 1/4" wood screws, pre-drilled and countersunk to fasten the T track.
