Remove barrel from IUR?

I made my own wrench.

10.5" with Smith Vortex G6A2 -SBV

Leverage is the key. Heat helps too.

I prefer a long breaker bar to knock the barrel nut loose.

The wrench I made is a simpler version of the Mega Arms wrench. No welds on my design.

4 prongs.

Milled flats matching your crowfoot wrench of choice.

If you do not have a geissele reaction rod, a good vise and a solid bench, you're better off sending it to a gunsmith.

You also need the tooling and the skill to drill and pin your replacement barrel if you want to use the existing gas block and gas tube.

The tooling and time alone will exceed the cost of sending it to a gunsmith.
