There must be a trick to this that I don't know? The ramp attaches to the barrel with two screws. The hood has be removed to access the holes in the ramp, but I can't get access to the hole forward because I can't get the hood to go any further forward. I can slide it halfway forward (and slide it back) with my fingers and have tried light tapping with a mallet but it won't go further forward. I'm afraid if I just keep using more force I may damage it.
I bought the rifle from a Gunnutz member a few years ago and the foresight was included detached, probably because the PH scope mount didn't have its rear sight peep ring, but I have since acquired a mount with the ring and determined that the scope I'm using will clear it, so I want the iron sights on it as well. Because I'm like that.
