I have the Trijicon 1-8 x 24mm on my Christensen CA-10 and there is little to distinguish between it and the Bushnell SMRS 1-8.5. Both have excellent glass, 34mm tubes, daylight-bright illuminated reticle, similar price-point, etc. I prefer the Segmented Circle reticle of the Trijicon over the Horseshoe reticle of the Bushnell, but I prefer the Bushnell's turrets if you plan to do any dialling.

For hunting with the .308 upper I'm going to run a Vortex HD LH 3-15x42 with HSR4 reticle.

2nd upper is going to be in 6.5creedmoore. I'll get around to building it as funds permit, most likely a Kahles 5-25.

Bushnell Trophy Xtreme, 2.5-15x50, 30mm, DOA LR600i

Not sure what rings I will go with.

For the 0-100 yard arena I think I will run an offset 6 or 3 moa Vortex Viper.

Has anyone used Nikon mounts? Why are they so cheap???
Was looking at the Burris but they look twice as heavy

I never mounted mine yet, but so far I like it.
Light weight, single piece, solid, room for charging handle, etc. Mine is the m series. I got the matching m-308 scope.
Just no are type rifle yet.

Burris Signature Zee rings with Leupold FXII Ultralight 2.5x.

Not everyone’s cup of tea but going for lightweight and affordable. Otherwise I’d go for an ACOG T33 with Bobro mount.
