Remove the black oxide finish from a Lone Wolf barrel?

Has anyone ever done it? How has it worked out? I'm looking to remove the black oxide finish from a Glock 19 barrel that is starting to show wear.

Any help is very much appreciated.

pretty sure those barrels are stainless so just get a 2000 grip emery cloth at Can tire and spend some time rubbing it

I was hoping that was a last resort The part of the barrel around the chamber would be a little tricky to get all of the finish off. Anyone used muriatic acid or another chemical to successfully remove it?
