Appreciate the responses , have just spoken with a very advanced collector retailer , there is some suggestion the top 1/2 doesn’t belong to the bottom 1/2 . Will find out when I have her inhand and perform an inspection in-depth . Thx again further comments welcome but not needed . Cheers
 
I would be careful with thinking the top half doesn't match the bottom. From your pics, IMHO there may be a few mismatched replacement parts.
 
I can see one mismatched part (sear bar) just in the few images you posted. Unfortunately, even this little detail kills the collector value. Very odd that a 1911 chambered marked P08 Luger is sporting a lower receiver with a stock lug, as I recall, this was not introduced until late 1913. Unless you are mistaken with the 1911 date, I strongly suspect this pistol has been assembled from parts from at least two different pistols. It is still a nice Luger to own, but would fall in the bottom range of Luger prices IMHO.
 
The machined stock lug didn’t appear until late 1913.

Early 1913 P08 Lugers did not have the stock lug as well as before that date, so a 1911 P08 would not have the stock lug.
