I didnt get this on ####### no. Id avoid anyone buying from there full of scammers. Very nice. I thought you sold yours no?

Terrific build - it's almost like you're in a free country again (maybe not quite) - but an "AR" that you can treat like a regular rifle, who'd a thunk it.

Yeah well, we'll see how long it lasts. Getting really tired of this government's stance on guns.

I would love to have one of the military ELCAN scopes for my AR, but they are too expensive for my budget.
I have the green furniture on mine including the addition of the adaptor to the front sight.
The upper looks naked without the forward assist.
Nice build

Thabks. I agree a FA WOULD be a bit more authentic but I dont believe in FAs anyway.

Green furniture is on.the list.

The ELCAN c79 is overrated..and having actually trained with one...meh. looks cool but low priority for me.

You don't believe in the press check?? ;) I'm doing my build on a FA upper when it eventually arrives, more for looks than because I really need it. And I'm with you on the issue Elcan.... I went with an OS4 on my SA20, because I like it MUCH more. Not 'clone correct'? Close enough for me.

Curious what it takes to swap over from an SA 20? I have an Unfired sa20 collecting dust at the moment, would love to be able to hunt coyotes with it, make for a good donor rifle sans the receiver.

I saw one for $350 at a gun show last year. So keep your eye out for one.

Take every piece off the colt and rebuild onto nr reciever. If you have the right tools it's pretty simple.
Trigger, pins, BCG, mag release, safety, trigger guard and grip all swap onto the MSporter? Then just a barrel nut wrench for the barrel and hand guard on the upper? If so I think I’ll get in line for MS receiver set

Yes they all swap. The only complicated part is torquing/indexing the barrel nut because there are no commercially available vise blocks that will fit the upper properly. ATRS has their own in house rig to do it.
