Removing a stripped bolt- XCR-L

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can remove the stock attaching bolt on a Robinson Armament XCR-L FAST stock?

I was was trying to take off the stock but the bolt was on there tighter than hell and not budging. It got to the point where it was bending the allen key (yes I was doing it in the right direction). SOMEONE thought they would help and wife-handeled it and the bolt stripped. Like a ####ing gorilla. I've never had to deal with a stripped bolt before.

Is there any tricks on getting this sucker out? The gunsmith will cost an arm and a leg and theres probably a 2 month waiting period or more now.

Drill out the head and use an easy out

The bolt seems in pretty deep, think it'll still bite and pull it out without damaging the frame?

Or just drill out the head of the screw, leaving the stub in place, remove stock and then use vice grips to turn the stub. I just did this with a scope base screw (granted it is much smaller) and worked fine.
