Removing camo finish from Burris scope.

I got this scope on a rifle I bought on the EE a few months ago. When I took it off I discovered the previous owner had buggered up the camo finish a bit. Probably adjusting it with the rings too tight, or shooting it with them too loose.

Is there a way to remove all of the camo finish without wrecking the black underneath?

I just don't have a gun that matches it and I'm pretty sure no one wants to buy it as is.

Easiest thing would be armacoat black over it. Other than that, you might have to blast it off, as its likely a hydro dip.
