Screws can be had with a pre-applied "dry" locking compound. Likely that's what this was. The colours used on these dry lump locking compounds don't seem to follow the generic Loctite colour scheme. I've seen blue, red, white, green and even yellow lumps of pre-applied goop on screws in my time.
