Removing Front Sight

Try to heat the end a bit with a hair dryer or heat gun, then tighten just a little, sometimes it is enough to break the bond and may come out easier. The screws are likely made of a softer material and will heat at different rates than the steel.
 
Hold the barrel in padded jaws in a vise. Use a screwdriver that fits correctly. While holding down very hard and twisting with one hand, tap the screwdriver handle firmly with a hammer repeatably, the shock often will break the screw loose right away.
