Can anyone recommend a product/process to remove spray paint from stocks/accessories made of plastic/polymer that won't damage the plastic? Picked up an LMT SOPMOD and some Tango Down grips and vertical battlegrip that someone had painted multiple colours of what looks like Krylon at a very sweet price.

I can understand painting it if I was heading to the sandbox or something, but for us range "commandos" I don't have the courage to turn a $6 can of spray paint on a $2000-$3000 rifle.:runaway:

Anyhow, I don't have much into the items, but if I can get the paint off they'll turn into a pretty awesome deal. Any help much appreciated!:)

Simply Green all purpose cleaner, you can find it at Canadian Tires, Zellers or Costco. simply soak the parts in the cleaner overnight, than wash it off with warm water and a nylon brush, it is less caustic than Easyoff and safe on polymers.
