Removing primer pocket crimp

My big problem was not being able to hold very many 223 Rem sized cases without my hand cramping up.
Then it hot me: I don't have to hold them! I came up with a contraption consisting of a base plate, a couple of shelf pins, a hockey puck and a DeStaCo clamp:
So far, so good. The next version, I might make the slot for the case a bit smaller.
I also made a slot on the other side of the puck for 308 sized cases; the shelf pins are to hold the puck to the base board.

If you hand-hold: https://lewilson.com/rifle-case-holders - a gentle tap in, de-crimp, and then a gentle tap (on a pine board) on the case neck pops the case out.
Don't tell me that! I was tired of using a hand reamer so I've been looking at swagers recently. Last weekend at a local gunshow I picked up an RCBS swager. Box was a little dirty, but all the pieces inside look brand new. I thought $30 was a good deal, and it stopped me from leaving the show empty handed
I use that and it's good. There are better tools for high volume if you're doing thousands of cases but the RCBS is pretty darn good for the price and much easier to use than the hand held tools.
