Removing the cylinder on a Husqvarna 1887 Nagant

I just picked up a Husqvarna model 1887 Nagant revolver, and I'm trying to figure out just how to remove the cylinder. I had assumed it was as simple as turning the ejector rod to the side, and then pulling out the tab/pin underneath it. Either mine is sticking, or there's another step I'm missing. Anyone here familiar with these?

You pull the cylinder pin lock rod toward the muzzle. Then you rotate the retaining collar that hinges around the barrel about 90 degrees to the side. Finally you pull the cylinder pin itself out the front of the frame and the cylinder will be loose in the frame. You then just open the loading gate and the cylinder drops out.

Simple, huh?
 
I figured that was the method - the cylinder pin is sticking, and I didn't want to force it without knowing if there was another step before that.

It's a tight fit - took a couple taps with a rubber mallet to get it out.

Anybody have any experience in loading for these or shooting them? I found what looks like a fairly straightforward load for them using 32-20 brass and hollowbase wadcutters.

Be interesting to come across a 32ACP cylinder for one of these. And no, it wouldn't make it a prohib - mine's early enough production that I have a letter of antique status for it.
 
As long as that caliber isn't on the "no list", you could rechamber it for whatever you wanted. If you wanted to take an original Colt 1860 and rig up the cylinder to shoot 44 magnum, it'd still be antique. You'd be dead of course :D , but up until the point it explodes, it'd still be an antique.
