Removing the Forearm of a Marlin 1894?

How do you remove the fore stock or Forearm off a Marlin 1984? I got it totally apart. I see it slides out but the part were the nose cap screws in wont allow the fore stock slide out....

HELP

Remove the screws from both front bands, being careful not to cross the threads. Remove the front band first. Then remove the screw from the magazine tube plug while holding the plug in place. Once the screw is out, slowly let it come out of the magazine. The spring will follow, as will the follower. Now remove the magazine, then slide the second band off the forstock, then remove the forstock from the receiver.

Yes it was thanks. I just wanted to check under the hand guard for rust.. Since I just bought this rifle...
 
Glad I could help. Recently bought one myself, and spend last Saturday night doing a disassembly/reassembly. Marlin Arms site has the owners manuals available for download as a PDF. Makes it easier!

Wish I knew that in advance. I was like Meh and did it by Trial and Error.
