Removing the metal caps on enfield stock?

How do i go about removing the metal caps attached to enfield stock? It looks like they are pinned on.

some are pinned and some are riveted. If you have the pinned version the pins will just drift out with a punch.

Thanks I wanted to double check before I started hammering away,

Fore end cap is pinned, drive the two pins out and it comes off. Handguard cap is riveted, take it off and you will not be getting in on again without some fancy work.
