Renewal time taking 5 months still waiting?

This is my 2nd renewal. Sent in Oct 2019. Still waiting. Website just says

Current Status: Your application has completed initial processing. It is now in progress. Please check the status again at a later date.



I called the other day, they just said keep waiting.

I saw others get their renewal in few weeks. I'm in Ontario.

Unusual. There must be a reason. Call again, get patched through to your CPFO and find out exactly why.
