Probably close to 25 years ago, I acquired a Winchester 9422M. I can remember the guy bringing it to my house and my first impression was that he brought a .30-30 rifle. I can't recall if I paid $250 or $275 at the time , or how I even came across it.
But I'd forgotten how gorgeous and well made this rifle is. A lot of intricate parts in that breech block. It has a few scratches on the receiver and a little loss of bluing at the bottom of the receiver where it would have been carried. But otherwise in very nice condition. The walnut is beautiful. I would say it is from the early '70s. No checkering.
Time to put a scope back on it and get it out on gophers next spring.
Yes, I'll get pictures up soon.
