Rental trucks/vans with trailer hitch in Ontario

Starting to plan our moose hunt this year and wondering if anyone knows of a rental place that rents full sized vans/trucks with trailer hitches in Ontario.

Not having much luck and any guidance you can provide is much appreciated.

Well I can tell you there was nothing around London. I tried looking for truck to rent with a hitch a few years ago and could not find anything.

I live in the Toronto area and have seen several National Rental as well as Discount Car and Truck Rental trucks as well as vans. I'd give them a ring and see if they offer ball hitches. You may need to resign yourselves to UHaul.

If you run out if options, I have a hitch on my '03 Chevy Crew Cab, and am just looking for any excuse to use my .300WSM!

try Discount, Hertz and Ryder. I rented a crew cab from Discount one time that had a class 3 hitch.
 
I suspect rental agents don't want anyone towing with their rigs and therefore don't have hitches on them.

How can they control what you tow? Can't blame them.
 
DO NOT GO TO UHAUL...They are literally the worst company in the world to do business with. they will try to screw you anyway they can. Case in point: In february I moved less than a km from where I live now, so they didnt make squat off me for millage...but never the less I had to pick it up about 4-k away. I pick it up, she #####es at me for being late...tells me she called me and we said 10am (BULL####!!!). When I return the vehicle I returned it not 3 hours later cause I had some buddies and family around and the move was super quick. She was suppose to call me on the monday (we moved on a saturday) to settle the bill....she said she would call me when she had it done up BEFORE charging it to my card. By wednesday no word so I decided to check my visa just to see...Sure enough she had charged every frig'n thing she could on my card...charged me for not filling it up, charged me for not cleaning it, and my personal favorite...charge me for returning it on monday...I say it's my favorite because she never came into work until monday so she figured THAT's when I returned it. It wasnt until I complained to the Atlantic Head office before she would anwser her phone and return my message's to get my refund.
