Repatair 1008 parts

Any source for parts for one of these? I need a new barrel asssembly. My neighbour asked me if I could fix it for him, found a bunch of things wrong with it but the one I couldn't fix was the housing around the barrel lock. It's broken and it doesn't keep the barrel in the right position so if you want to fire you need to hold the barrel down with your support hand.

Any suggestions or anybody with a broken 1008 with a good barrel who want to get rid of it?

You could try a rubber band cut from a bicycle inner-tube to old it down. MIght be a pain in the but having to remove it every 8 shots, but at least it will work till you find what you are looking for.

You could try contacting Eric at Scopes and Ammo, he is a good supplier of Crosman parts.
