Finding longer replacement barrels are difficult and expensive.
I would look into relining by making a liner from a blank, or .357 rifle barrel.
I'd bore out the old barrel and lengthen the barrel inside the cylinder area.
You would have to shave the front of the cylinder a few mm's, but you would preserve the muzzle's original look so it doesn't look like an aroused hound dog.
Most .38 Spl. cylinders are long enough to be shortened a bit.

Before they all sell out, Tradex, a banner advertiser has Model 10, S&W barrels, marked 38S&W for sale at a very good price, new old stock, still in the wrap.
The profile may not be the same as your pistol's barrel but the bores are the proper diameter and any smith with some common sense can easily fit one to your pistol.
If you don't like the cartridge marking, take it to an engraver and get it changed.
Your next best option is to go through a broker and get one from Numrich.

I kind of think with that gun, the labor and barrel will be worth about 3X what the gun will be worth after it is done.
I would just buy a 4 1/2 or 6 inch gun.

If you did the work yourself and had a hunk of 38 cal rifle barrel laying around , than I could see it.
Or make a liner 106-7mm long, drill out the barrel and line it, but don't shoot heavy loads.
