Replaceing sights on Norc NP-29 (1911)

I'm looking into replacing the sights on my Nork NP-29. From what I've gathered there are couple different styles of sights out there for the 1911..I know my rear is dove tail, but the front sight isn't and im not sure what style it is..

Has anyone replaced theirs or know what style of front sight I should be looking for?

Any input greatly appreciated!!

Do you have a newer model 29 or older? Sounds like the older one with the staked front sight....
There are lots of options and if you take it to a smith who can machine the slide you have even more options!

Unless they've changed, the front sight is the so-called narrow tenon model, same size as older Colts. Rear sight is standard Colt dovetail.

Don't know if this helps or not - I replaced the rear sight on my Norc NP-58 (Sig 226 clone) with a real Sig 226 sight - it fit perfectly. I'd be very surprised if real colt sights did not fit.
