Can I buy a replacement 14" barrel for my Benelli Super Nova Tactical and where can i buy one? I know they come on the new collapsible stock version but can't find just the 14" barrel. I really just want the barrel but I guess i should also ask if the new supernova collapsible stock is available on it's own also?

Cheers,
Evan

Good luck!

As I understand it from speaking to a local shop, the 14" run was a custom request that was made a long time ago (by Stoegers Canads, our countries official Benelli importer) and it finally got filled.
I believe the request has been made again due to the overall success the 14" SuperNova (all sold out quickly), so hopefully we'll see more in the future.

With regards to a 14" barrel-only. I won't say impossible, but you'd probably need to contact someone at Benelli Italy who'd be willing to make a "one-off" for you and then ship it to you. Probably cost some major $$$.

That sucks because I would really like to have the best of both world in one gun and everything directly from Benelli seems to be expensive and hard to get.
I would have no problem buying the 14" version of the gun as the price is right, however the collapsible stock looks kinda cheap and it is defiantly not the $400 plus version from the M4, so I'm not sure if the price is worth trading in the 20" version for. I've already put a rail on mine and if I could find a 14" barrel I could be able to easily swap the barrels anytime as the supernova is a cinch to take apart. Also if I could somehow find or make a pistol grip with no stock at all it would be the perfect dual purpose setup, but think ill be dreaming about that for some time.

So I just called Benelli USA and asked them if they had a 14" Supernova Tactical barrel for sale, I turns out they only make one that is for sale to law enforcement only and they didn't even know if it was legal in Canada or that there was a version available here already. He did agree that if it was sold threw dealers that Stoeger Canada could be a good source for the guns, I tried to get in touch with the parts department there and all I got was a machine. Ill let you know what I find out if and when I take to Stoeger.

P.S. If anyone is interested where to buy the rail for the Supernova Tactical I got mine from EGW in the states.

Cheers,
Evan

Ok so this 14" Benelli Supernova Tactical was a custom build buy Stoeger Canada, at first Stoeger told me that if I found a dealer to buy from them and get the barrel ordered in. Unfortunately Wolverine spoke to them for me and it turns out that it was a one time batch and there are no barrels available now and possible never, same goes for the gun the ones out now might be the only ones. Right now the price of replacement barrels for Benellis are all priced at around $300 and up, so shortening a 20" one and moving the ghost ring sights would end up being very very pricey.

So buy them all up and start looking into or asking questions about it and there might be enough hype for them to do another batch, and maybe just some 14" barrels.

One interesting thing that the guy at Stoeger Canada pointed out is how different are gun law are from the US, not that we didn't already know this. Basically Benelli USA has classified allot of there stuff for LE use only and they will not sell those parts to the public no matter what, the guys at Stoeger seem to think it is a moral choice not legal. So once it comes to Stoeger Canada they reclassify it as non LE making it available in Canada to everyone, that is if they were available. It is nice to know that there are companies and people in Canada working to make products available to, it's even better when we can finally get some stuff the people south of the border can't get it's a bit of a role reversal.

Thanks for the info G37.

Cheers,
Evan

Glad my info was accurate... the guns were very successful; sold out quick.
I wouldn't be surprised if another batch made it into Canada :)

I want one as the cheek weld for me was absolutely perfect, whereas the telescopic-M4 was terrible (I had to squish/cramp my neck down to see through the rear sight).

I'm still going to pray for just the barrels, I can't really afford two Benelli's with all the other amazing stuff I need first lol.

Yah the stock is sweet looking considering the M4 one is from what I heard $400 plus and almost impossible to get your hands on.

Cheers,
Evan
