2 Ribs on my Flash suppressor let go on my M14S/M305 Where can I get a new one, is there anything better than what came on it available that will work on the the Norinco? Has anyone else had this happen?
What is the going scope mount recommendation? Looking for Bipod recommendation too. Put the USGI fibreglass stock on this rifle years ago, but would like to enhance it a bit.

Thanks spryan

Unless you cut and re thread your barrel, make sure you hang on to the Norc castle nut (although you will likely need a new castle nut set screw) as the USGI castle nut won't work on the Norc barrel. For optic mounts, I've got the CASM on mine, love it. And as far as the bipod is concerned, I jury-rigged an NcStar cheapo bipod on mine. It works...

I can't help you on the flash hider. One of mine is welded and I can't even get the castle nut loose with a bammer and punch so wen it comes to it il probably have you cut it of and have the barrel threaded and re crowned.

Scope mount, m14.ca casm gen 2 all the way!

Flash hider... "Keepshooting" does a good one at a good price. Its straight as a arrow, has never fell off and it PINGS.
Bipod.......... NcStar does a decent one at a great price, mines still good, has never fell off or melted.
Scopemount...NcStar again. Good solid HEAVY as f$#k steel mount.

But if you want to spend big money go for the designer labels, your choice.

Arms 18 is another nice mount. I run a Sadlak Airborne from Treeline and a few thousand rounds later she's still on there tight. I didn't go the CASM mount route due to wanting my irons as back up. Even though the CASM has the hole in the back drilled for back up irons, its a not adjustable sight which I personally wasn't a fan of. But the design of it offers a very sturdy mount.
