Replacement low power pellet gun?

Well, the crossman that dad bought me 20 years ago and I got replacement parts for a couple years back broke. The plastic clip that holds the barrel closed snapped off.

Of the cheaper 495fps .177 models, what is one that would be worth buying? I saw some $180 units but for that money I could get a high power one and the idea is a quiet plinker for cans and rats, no need for a high power .177 as I have a 22 cal high power, unless it is whisper quiet.

The Beeman P17 gets my vote for most bang for very little bucks. Around $75. Single shot .177, single stroke pump, no CO2.
Good basement gun.
