Replacement stock for a 700 BDL?

Hello all,


I've got a model 700 BDL that I've had for a few years and like it fine. However, I've found the stock to be just a bit thicker than I like for carrying comfortably. My question is: does anyone know of a stock (Boyd's perhaps) that I could use as a replacement for the factory original but which would also have a slimmer profile. It's not killing me the way it is, but I'm hoping to put together a slightly trimmer rifle.

If you want cheap wood try getting a CDL or a tupperware take off if you don't mind plastic. Try Numerich gunparts .

The CDL or the Mountain rifle stocks are slimmer than the BDL ones.
I am like you, not really fond of most BDL stocks.

Right on! Thanks guys. I checked out the McMillan website and the stocks are nice but are a bit expensive for right now. Thinking I'm going to go with something available through the Numrich website.
