I am looking at replacing the trigger on my 80's era push feed model 70. Any advice on which one works best? I have heard some reports of safety modifications needed after some are replaced. I am leaning towards timney. If you guys have a preference and the exact model that I would need for that model of gun let me know

Any M70 pre Browning trigger is the same I do belive its the one thing that never changed on the Model 70.
As for replacement preferances I don't have any since my 1990's M70 has a smooth 2 1/2lb trigger pull with 0 take up and 0 over travel. The M70 has a pretty decent adjustable trigger from factory so why fix if it aint broke I figure. But to each their own
