Hello wise and powerful CGN-ers,
I want to put a folding front site on my AR so that the site picture is a little less crowded with my red dot. I know physically how to remove it. It is a pinned one (armalite m15 14.5 inch barrel). I don't think free floating a 14.5" barrel barrel to get a top rail to put a folding buis on is worth it and would add an unnecessary few hundred dollars to the build. Can anyone recommend a railed gas block and buis combo?
I need the buis to line up and the different planes of a railed gas block and the rear top rail don't line up with most buis. Also, I assume there is different quality gas blocks and it seems like a fairly important part to the functioning of the AR so I would like a reliable one!
Please be specific:
1) Which gas block?
2) Which model buis?
Purpose is target shooting and 3 gun. It gets bashed around a fair bit.
