Replacing sights on Norinco 1911

I heard somewhere that replacing the sights on the Norinco 1911's is very difficult to do. Is it?

It's not a do it yourself thing on any 1911, unless the dovetail that's already cut perfectly matches your sights. I'd just buy sights and send it to a gun smith.
