Has anyone here replaced the slide stop plunger on their Norinco 1911?
I want to replace this part due to the fact that the stock plunger is not raduised whatsoever on the tip that contacts the slide stop, and there is some play as well, as if the diameter of the plunger is too small for the channel in the plunger tube causing is to wiggle too much.
This makes it literally impossible when reassembling, to just push the slide stop in to pop it in place like I see everyone doing when reassembling their 1911's. I always have to push the plunger in with a wooden skewer while simultaneously snapping the slide stop in place.
I am considering ordering both plungers from Fusion parts in the US. Only $1.70 each and $4 for shipping.
Anybody here do this to improve the ease of reassembly of their Norc 1911? Does it make a difference?
Thanks!!
